Abraham Darriel

Abraham Darriel is a client manager with an exceptional passion for leadership through higher education. He is driven by the understanding that there is incremental, breakthrough, and transformational innovation needed to develop the next generation of Africans, and that this innovation requires higher education. Before joining Carnegie Mellon University Africa, Darriel was an assistant director with the University of Maryland Global Campus Asia. He managed a team that was responsible for student advising, enrollment, and overall student success.

Darriel holds two bachelor of science degrees: one in sociology social work from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and another in business administration from Berkely College, New York. He also holds a Master of Science degree in supply chain management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Adelphi. Darriel believes that student success is made possible by putting students first, and he thrives on the values that diversity brings.
