Jeremiah N. Mpagazehe Memorial Scholar-in-Residence Fellowship

Carnegie Mellon University invites young academics of African descent to apply for the Jeremiah N. Mpagazehe Memorial Scholar-in-Residence Fellowship. This fellowship supports a one-semester scholar-in-residence appointment to engage in teaching and research at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering location in the regional ICT Center of Excellence in Kigali, Rwanda. Recipients of the fellowship will have an opportunity to work with world-class scholars in all areas related to ICT and electrical and computer engineering, including energy, big data, telecom, image processing, software engineering, mobile computing and information security. They will also have access to laboratory and computing resources and can work with top Carnegie Mellon graduate students at the regional ICT Center of Excellence. Learn how to apply.

Carnegie Mellon University invites full professors from African universities to apply for the CMU Distinguished African Scholar Award. This award supports a one-semester visiting faculty appointment to engage in teaching and research at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering location in the regional ICT Center of Excellence in Kigali, Rwanda.
