Howdy Pierce is a software engineer and tech entrepreneur from Colorado. In 2002 he co-founded Cardinal Peak, a 100+-person engineering design services company that designs products in the audio/video and Internet-of-Things markets. From 1999 to 2002, he co-founded and served as CEO of Vantum, a venture-backed startup addressing the market for networked video appliances for enterprise applications: training, meeting recording, video documentation, and video surveillance. Prior to Vantum, Pierce held senior engineering and management roles at DiviCom, Taligent, the Santa Cruz Operation, and Microsoft. He holds a B.S. in mathematics and professional writing from Carnegie Mellon.
