The CMU-Africa Certificate in Artificial Intelligence requires not only a sufficiently strong academic background, but also the ability to learn independently, the motivation to work hard, and the desire to gain new skills to pursue their professional opportunities. We have found that asking people to recommend possible learners who they know personally is more effective than advertising to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
When completing your recommendation, please click the "recommend" button and provide:
- candidate name
- email address
- phone number
- the context in which you know candidate
- if you will serve as a manager, coach, or mentor
Types of partners sought as recommenders
- Employers
- Instructors or mentor from universities, technical schools, startup incubators, or other programs
- Representative from government, non-profit organizations, or foundations
