CyLab-Africa will host the Cybersecurity Education, Research, and Awareness Day on October 22.

The event will include a morning program that focuses on cybersecurity awareness which includes demos and exchanges, and an afternoon program that focuses on cybersecurity education and research. It will focus on the challenges and opportunities of cybersecurity research, education, and awareness in financial services in Africa. 

The Cybersecurity Education, Research, and Awareness Day is a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University Africa and the Africa Cybersecurity Resource Centre (ACRC) with the participation of the Rwandan National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA).

This is a closed event, with an international audience from academia, industry, and government.

The event will include a morning program that focuses on cybersecurity awareness which includes demos and exchanges, and an afternoon program that focuses on cybersecurity education and research. It will focus on the challenges and opportunities of cybersecurity research, education, and awareness in financial services in Africa.
